My Future House

Hey all how is everyone doing. My brother drew this house a few weeks ago (ok my brother loves to draw so if anyone know where I can get him some exposure please let me know) so I took it from him so I could put it up for safe keeping. After getting it home I sat down and studied the thing and wow this could actually be my house one day. Tell me what you all think.

Get Well Card filled with Love

Hey everyone here is a Get Well Card my brother made for me. Isn't this nice. He gave this to me on the way to the hospital last week and I just remembered about it and wanted to share it with you all. Hope you like it

Home from the Hospital but in Isolation (Out one Prison into Another :-) )

Hey everyone, I came home from the hospital on Friday and I was so happy to get out of there to come home but there was a price to pay. The price was still not being able to see my boys for ANOTHER 3 days because they were not allowed to be in the same house with me because of the radiation. They came with my mom to pick me up but my cousins were there waiting to pick them up. I only got a glance at them while we were at the stop light. We waved and waved as if we were not going to see each other again. I wanted to cry but knew they were in good hands and they were going to the country and they love being down there because they are free to get out and play. Well on my way home I realized I was HUNGRY because as I mentioned before I only had FRUIT to eat. Anyway I was told previously my tastebuds may fail on me for a while, and I did not pay any attention to it until I asked mom to stop and get me a burger. I could not taste the burger at all. But since I was hungry I ate it to fill my stomach. So when we arrived at Camp Lejeune I also remember the docs telling me that I could set off the base alarm. I thought that was real cool, that is until it actually happened. When we drove across the bridge to get to the sentry we heard the alarm go off and the MPs starting talking on their radios and stopping traffic, so we slowly creeped up to the sentry and I put my "GET OUT OF JAIL FREE" card out the window to inform the guys that I may have set off the alarm because I was just released from the hospital. He looked at the card and radio in to the others and told them what he had discovered and we were on our merry way. Mom was very nervous and I thought it was funny but looking on the bright side of things it lets us know that we are prepared for a nuclear attack. Anyway we arrived home and I slowly walked to my room knowing that I would be isolated in there for the next 72 hours. I must say it was a little stressful but relaxing because I had time to make sure I could heal and get better before my guys came home to me.

The Treatment

Hi All I finally received treatment on last week Wednesday at New Hanover Regional Medical Center. I must say I was VERY nervous before I got the treatment. I was afraid of the nausea, vomiting, sleepless nights, and swelling. Well I must say that I did experience a little nausea, ans some swelling and pain in the throat. I had to take sleep aids because I found it hard to sleep the 2 nights in the hospital. The nurses were very nice and compassionate. They checked on me every hour. The only thing that sucked was the Low Iodine Diet, I ate so much fruit until I thought I was going to come out looking like the Fruit of Loom Mascot :-) but I did lose 4 lbs which I do not mind at all. Anyway Friday finally came and I was ready to go home but the downfall is I was not able to see my children. I thank my family for stepping in and taking care of them until I get better. I love you all very much.

Shot #2

Hello All, I received the 2nd shot on Tuesday and it was not that bad. I had a slight headache and trouble sleeping but got through it. Thanks for all the support.
